Noscasure 150

Noscasure is a high dose noscapine which contains 150 mg of pure noscapine, with no additives, no fillers, no binders, and no flowing agents added.Noscasure was initially used to suppress cough, including cough induced by drugs called ACE-inhibitor, however it has now shown affective to benefits as a potent cancer treatment, effective against numerous types of cancer such asglioblastoma (brain tumors), thymoma, prostate cancer, lymphoma, ovarian cancer, non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and some neuroendocrine tumors. Noscasure has shown unparalleled benefit in treating stroke patients as well and it is being studied for treating Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) and for Alzheimer’s disease. Noscasure has multiple mechanisms of action. It inhibits bradykinin, interferes with tubulin like some chemotherapy drugs do, and also suppressed HIF-1, a growth factor in many cancers.

How it Works
Noscasure has multiple mechanisms of action. It inhibits bradykinin, interferes with tubulin like some chemotherapy drugs do, and also suppressed HIF-1, a growth factor in many cancers.Noscasure’s active ingredient, noscapine, has potent anti-cancer effects. These were first discovered in the late 1990’s at Emory University and have since been studied by many other researchers. More recently, it is being studied for its benefit in treating challenging neurological disorders such as Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Introduction
Noscapine in its natural form is called “noscapine base”. However, the base does not dissolve in water, hence it is processed by some producers into a salt form, called noscapine hydrochloride (hcl), which dissolves in water. This defines it as “water soluble”. While “water soluble” molecules are generally better absorbed, noscapine is an exception. Studies have shown that the noscapine in its naturally-existing “base” form is far-better absorbed than noscapine hydrochloride (hcl). Our Noscasure™ product contains only the superior-absorbing noscapine base.

Noscasure is our exclusive brand of high dose noscapine. Noscasure capsules contain 150 mg of pure noscapine, with no additives, no fillers, no binders, and no flowing agents added. Noscapine has been safely used in medicine for over 100 years. Its fame and widespread use originate with its cough-suppressing effects. Since the 1990’s, scientists have discovered noscapine’s benefits as a potent cancer treatment, effective against numerous types of cancer. In addition, it has shown unparalleled benefit in treating stroke patients. More recently, it is being studied for treating Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) and for Alzheimer’s disease.   Noscasure’s active ingredient, noscapine, has so far been tested and shown activity against the following types of cancer: glioblastoma (brain tumors), thymoma, breast cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and some neuroendocrine tumors. Since noscapine has no patent protection, there is no incentive for pharma companies to develop it as a cancer treatment. Instead, the pharma industry is making efforts to synthetically modify noscapine and create “new” drugs that can be patented. We are proud to be able to bring you Noscasure, our exclusive brand of pure noscapine, enabling you to benefit from these valuable medical breakthroughs in a timely manner.   Noscapine is approved and primarily used for suppressing cough, including cough induced by drugs called ACE-inhibitors. Secondary uses for high dose noscapine such as contained in Noscasure™ include various types of cancer such as glioblastoma (brain tumors), thymoma, prostate cancer, lymphoma, ovarian cancer, non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and some neuroendocrine tumors. Additional secondary uses include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), Hereditary Spastic Paraplegias (HSP) and for Alzheimer’s disease. The typical doses used for these conditions range from 1,000 mg to 3,000 mg daily.

Use

Noscasure is used as a cough suppressant for over 100 years. Noscasure  has been studied for its potential to treat cancer and some neurological conditions. Amongst its various medicinal properties, noscapine acts as a tubulin inhibitor. Tubulin inhibitors can help interrupt the abnormal cell-division process that is common in cancer, and some neurological conditions.
Dosage and administration
Cancer-effective doses range between 1,000 mg and 3,000 mg daily. Optimal doses in neurological disorders have not yet been determined.Noscasure dose should be determined by your healthcare practitioner. The daily dose is best divides into 2 or 3 doses, taken 4 – 6 hours apart. Noscasure should be swallowed with the aid of water or another liquid.Noscasure should be taken at regular intervals, ideally with fat-containing meals to improve absorption.
Warning
  Take special care with Noscasure
- If you are using warfarin (Coumadin). Noscapine has been shown to slow down the clearance of the blood-thinning medication warfarin, which can lead to excessive warfarin levels and risk of bleeding. If you are using warfarin, do not use Noscasure™ without discussing with your healthcare professional, and closely monitoring your INR levels.
Contraindication
Besides the interaction with warfarin (Coumadin), Noscasure is not reported to interact with other medicines. However, it is suggested that it may increase blood levels of alcohol, and of certain drugs such as hypnotics (usually used in sleeping pills) and MAO inhibitors (used in some anti-depressants). Noscapine inhibits the CYP3A4 and CYP2C9 metabolic enzymes, which could potentially lead to higher levels of drugs that are dependent on these enzymes for metabolism. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist of any changes or additions to the medications you are using.
Careful administration
Noscasure™ can be taken with or without food. Taking it with food may reduce the chance of stomach upset. The effects of Noscasure start immediately, but requires long-term administration to maintain its effects.
Interaction

Noscasure is not known to interact with any medications. However, it should be used in caution in patients taking Coumadin (Warfarin) as it can result in much higher levels of Coumadin in the blood.
Side effects
At high doses, especially over 2,000 mg daily, users sometimes report nausea.
